Earlier this week on Tuesday, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to acknowledge the beautiful creation of Vidhu Vinod Chopra and the depiction by Vikrant Massey in 12th Fail, in her Instagram Story she wrote,
“One of the most beautiful films I have seen in a while! Earlier this week, Hrithik Roshan took to Twitter and penned a beautiful tweet for the artwork of Vidhu Vinod Chopra. In his X (formerly Twitter) post, the Hrithik wrote, “Finally saw 12th Fail. It’s quite a masterclass in filmmaking. Above everything else I was inspired by the use of sound and sound effects play in enhancing the moments. Brilliant performances. Mr Chopra, what a movie! Thank you for the brilliance. I am deeply inspired by this one.”
Vijay Deverakonda wrote an emotional tweet for the film 12th Fail, talking about the roles played by everyone in the struggle of an aspirant.
Katrina Kaif in a recent interview with Film Companion while talking about the films of 2023 appreciated the film 12th Fail and said, “I think this year (2023) is probably one of the best years for me to give this example where we’ve of course seen high octane action commercial blockbusters and we’ve seen a small, intimate film,12th Fail, do so well. I think that’s all the example we need. If a film has an interesting story, it will find its audience”.
