It also mentioned Netflix buying all the rights to the global distribution of the documentary. Priyanka Chopra has joined the team as executive director for To Kill A Tiger.
While breaking the news with her followers, Priyanka Chopra penned a heartfelt note. She wrote, “I’m so proud to join the incredible team of the Academy Award-nominated documentary @tokillatigerdoc and to announce that @netflix has acquired the global distribution rights to this powerful feature directed by @nishappics.”

Indian origin director Nisha Pahuja welcomed Priyanka Chopra as she joined her project as Executive Producer. Nisha took to Instagram and shared the news with excitement. ” We are thrilled to share that @Netflix has acquired global rights to TO KILL A TIGER! She also applauded Priyanka’s efforts and support for the film. To Kill A Tiger showcases the struggle of a father who fights an endless battle to seek justice for his daughter, who had been sexually assaulted. It showcases the father’s determination and love for the daughter, even though society boycotts the family because of their stubborn attitude toward justice against the powerful upper caste elites. The story is based on the family from Jharkhand, the homeland of Priyanka Chopra.
