Sonam Kapoor Ahuja honored Ladakh’s cultural heritage at the pre-wedding celebrations of Mukesh Ambani’s sons Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The three-day celebration came to an end yesterday Sunday. It began on the 1st of March and lasted till the 3rd of March in the city of Gujarat, Jamnagar. Almost all Bollywood celebs were invited to the grand event. Ambani’s managed to shift quite much of Mumbai to Jamnagar for their 3-day celebration. All the B-town beauties present showered the event with their glamorous looks under the same roof. Sonam Kapoor Known for her unique and elegant dress sense which sets her class apart, dressed like herself again for the event. But the actress’s unique choice of Ladakh Outfit from the event has stolen the spotlight.

Sonam’s Outfit Experiment

For the third day of the celebration, Sonam wore a Mogos (traditional formal gown for women) and Bok cape, both part of Ladakhi attire. The outfit was designed by Namza Couture, a label by Ladakhi designers Jigmet Disket and Padma Yangchan. It reflects the cultural roots of Ladakh.

Sonam Kapoor shared the attire from the event yesterday. She shared many pictures in the beautiful dress and wrote down her heart for the outfit and Ladakhi culture. “Since the night was dedicated to heritage, Introducing the traditional attire of Ladakh: The Mogos, the primary garment, paired with the Bok cape for warmth, showcases the rich cultural tapestry influenced by the Silk Route. Crafted from silk by artisans of Benaras, this ensemble features intricate phoenix embroidery symbolizing energy and wisdom, with a crane motif representing peace and prosperity.

The actress further wrote about her look, crediting the craftsman for their craft. “Also to carry on the theme of heritage I wore jewels from my @kaveeta.singh @kapoor.sunita and @priya27ahuja thank you all three for letting me raid your closets. Love you three the most.”

Sonam Kapoor on other days of Celebration

For the first day of the celebration, the actress Sonam Kapoor wore a black ball gown with a black belted choker attached to the gown’s cape and black and silver jhumkas. She kept her hair neatly tied in a bun. Holding a black sliver clutch, Sonam looked breathtakingly beautiful and heavenly gorgeous.

For the second day, Sonam wore a white and silver lehenga with pearl, white, and green jewelry. Long lustrous hair kept free and wavy gave her a very pretty look.
