Since the release of the action drama film Animal, its director and actor Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been in the spotlight. He is in the news again because of his way of celebrating. The director Sandeep Reddy visited Tirumala Temple in Andhra Pradesh to offer prayers after the huge success of Animal and Vanga sacrificed his long-held treasure, grown after the success of Arjun Reddy.

While some praised the movie Animal, others criticized its storyline as being against women. The movie titled Animal depicts a man(played by Ranbir Kapoor) turning into an animal in behavior and action to protect his family, mainly his father(played by Anil Kapoor). And this social animal in the movie has been glorified as the so-called ‘Alpha Male’.
The concept has received mixed responses, many claiming it to be a movie only, while others including film critics see deep-rooted misogyny in the film. Despite the controversy, the film was a massive success at the box office. The theatres were full for weeks having huge audience footfall for the film.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga offered Hair
Recently, Sandeep Reddy Vanga shaved his head and offered his hair at Tirupati Balaji Temple, a practice believed to fulfill wishes. A video of him on the temple premises shows his transformed appearance, as he had long hair and a thick beard after the success of “Arjun Reddy.”

The film Animal achieved significant financial success, earning Rs 553 crore in the India box office and Rs 915 crore worldwide. The unique father-son relationship portrayed in the movie resonated with audiences.
Ranbir Kapoor received Best Actor for Animal
Ranbir Kapoor received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor Popular for his role in Animal, and the film also received accolades in other categories, including Best Playback Singer and Best Background Score.
