Salman Khan House Firing Case: Police recently stated that a 20-year-old man has been arrested for booking a cab from the house of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. According to Mumbai Police, the accused has been identified as Rohit Tyagi from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
He Booked a Cab Under the Name Lawrence Bishnoi
Police informed that the accused had booked a cab from Salman Khan’s house Galaxy Apartment to Bandra Police Station under the name of Lawrence Bishnoi. When the cab driver reached Galaxy Apartment and asked the watchman about the booking, the watchman immediately informed the nearby Bandra police station about the incident, police reported.
Further investigation revealed that the accused booked the cab under the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi as a joke. Police filed a case against him and arrested him from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
He is in Custody Until April 25th
Afterward, he was brought to Mumbai, presented in court, and then handed over to the custody of Bandra Police for two days. Earlier on Tuesday, Kutch Police arrested two suspects and transferred them. Later, a city court ordered both suspects to remain in Mumbai Crime Branch custody until April 25 in connection with the firing incident.
The suspects, identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), both from Bihar, were brought to court after a medical examination. Two individuals on a motorcycle fired four shots outside Galaxy Apartments, where the actor lives, around 5 am on Sunday morning and fled. CCTV footage revealed that both individuals were wearing caps and carrying backpacks.
The footage also shows them firing towards the actor’s house. Following the arrest, Kutch DSP AR Zakant stated that initial investigations indicated the suspects were associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. It is worth noting that after receiving threats from gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar since November 2022, Salman’s security level has been raised to Y-Plus.
