In an interview, Sherlyn talked about how she was frequently asked if she had undergone breast surgery. She confirmed that she was tired of having a flat chest and decided to get breast augmentation. She said, “Reporters and directors often asked me if I had undergone breast surgery. I had no reason to lie, so I admitted that I wanted to change my flat chest. I was bored, so I did it.”
Sherlyn also mentioned how directors would inquire about her cup size and even wanted to touch her breasts during casting. Despite mentioning their wives, the directors still tried to exploit her. Sherlyn said, “Directors would ask questions like, ‘Can we touch it? What’s your cup size?’ I questioned whether people only cared about an actress’s cup size when going to the theaters. I reminded them that they were married and should respect women. One director even claimed to be in an open marriage and didn’t interact much with his wife.”
In the same interview, Sherlyn talked about facing personal health challenges when she suffered from kidney failure in 2021. Despite not receiving support from her family, she persevered through continuous medication and recovered.
