Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding was a grand event that became the talk of the town. Held on July 12, the function saw numerous videos and photos flooding social media.

Kavya Karnatac provided four reasons for rejecting the Ambani proposal. Firstly, she stated that she wanted to maintain her uniqueness and not get lost in the crowd. She wrote, “Associating with overly promoted content like Ambani’s wedding would diminish the uniqueness of my brand.”

She then presented her second reason, saying it felt dishonest to promote a corporate giant like Ambani when Jio had recently raised internet charges. She mentioned that trust is fragile and builds over time through consistent honesty. She added that her audience is discerning and can differentiate between paid promotions and genuine content.

In her third point, Kavya highlighted that weddings in India are often called off due to caste, class, gender, and religion issues. She said these aspects do not align with her values and that promoting such weddings is wrong, especially since she is also a teacher.

Her fourth point stated that while the INR 360,000 deal was attractive, the long-term benefits of maintaining her integrity far outweigh the short-term gains. Integrity builds a loyal following, which is invaluable.

This post went viral, receiving around 6,000 likes and numerous comments. One user commented, “I’ve heard stories about people being offered big sums to post positively about Ambani’s wedding and how it showcased Indian culture on an international stage. I knew little about it. Kudos to Kavya Karnatac for staying true to her values despite such temptations. Ambani’s money has bought everyone you’ve ever known; thank you for showing that not everyone is for sale. Well done!”

Another user wrote, “Great job, Kavya Karnatac! Not everyone has the courage to choose honesty and loyalty to their audience and promote only genuine content over money.”
