Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty Purchase a New Sports Car

Recently, Raj Kundra was seen driving a new luxury car. The stunning green sports car was gifted to the businessman by British premium sports car makers, Lotus. According to several media reports, Raj’s new car is valued at over 3 crore rupees.

In a video shared by a paparazzi page, Raj was seen taking a test drive of his new car. Later, he was spotted driving the car to his Juhu mansion. In another clip, Raj was seen with his son Viaan. The father-son duo, dressed casually in t-shirts and trousers, were seen closely inspecting the car.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra Faced Legal Troubles Before Buying the New Car

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra frequently come under scrutiny due to their business dealings. In June 2024, the couple faced legal trouble when they were accused of defrauding a businessman in a gold scheme. In April 2024, the ED seized their assets worth 97.79 crore rupees under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA).

Several properties of Raj and Shilpa, including apartments in Mumbai and Pune, were seized as part of the investigation into the 2017 Bitcoin fraud case. The ED accused Raj and others of defrauding the public of a significant amount, allegedly totaling 6,600 crore rupees.

Following this, the couple released a statement through their lawyer Prashant Patil, stating, “We have complete faith in the honorable judiciary. I believe that when we present our fair representation before the honorable Enforcement Directorate, the investigative agencies will also provide us with justice. We trust in a fair investigation and are committed to cooperating with the authorities as needed.”
