She paired this saree with a purple blouse embellished with real gold leaf work, specially crafted by Pichwai artist Shehzad Ali Sherani from Kishangarh, Rajasthan.

According to a report by the ‘Indian Express’, Shehzad was approached to create this blouse just a week before Anant and Radhika’s wedding. He explained that he, his son, and their team worked for 50-55 hours to complete the blouse for Nita Ambani. He said, “It was a major challenge. My son Faizan, our team, and I worked together for 50-55 hours. We managed to deliver it on time.”

In the same interview, the artist mentioned that Nita Ambani specifically requested the inclusion of real gold leaves in the blouse. He said, “We first made a drawing and got it approved. Then, we printed the blouse and applied yellow color as the base where we wanted to place the real gold from Jaipur’s ‘Pannigaron ka Mohalla’. Designer Manish Malhotra asked us to work with real gold on the blouse.”

On July 18, 2024, Pichwai artist Shehzad Ali Sherani shared a post on his Instagram account about the opportunity to showcase his art on a global platform.
