Bollywood superstar, Alia Bhatt has once again made everyone to talk about her. Today she released the poster of her Upcoming Movie Jigra through Social Media. She recently won accolades for her performances in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, has been on a winning streak.
The movie is set to be released on big screen on 11th October, this year. Directed by Vasan Bal, who has gained recognition for his unconventional films such as Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota and Monica, O My Darling, is known for his offbeat and experimental approach to filmmaking , Jigra is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about films of the year.
In quite a small span of time the poster caught the attention of Bollywood critics and netizens accepting to be impressed by the poster. Netizens agree that the poster looks quite promising. The intense gaze of Alia’s character suggests that this will be a high-stakes emotional drama, resonating with the kind of performances that have become Bhatt’s signature.
In the poster Alia can be seen holding a lot of tools in her hands with the background on fire showing a hint of horror and confusion. The dark hues and shadowy tones of the design create a sense of danger and suspense, Jigra is said to be a brother-sister story.

Vedang who debued through Zoya Akhtar’s Archies is playing her brother in the movie and is also one of the main character.
