Famous Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur is going to work with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna Dk for the first time along with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the action-fantasy series ‘Rakt Bramhand – The Bloody Kingdom’.
Aditya and Samantha begin their shooting for the highly anticipated Netflix series, ‘Rakt Bramhand – The Bloody Kingdom’ in Mumbai. This action-fantasy series will be helmed by Rahi Anil Barve of ‘Tumbbad’ (2018) fame with Raj – DK serving as creators.
A source from the set revealed, “Rakt Bramhand is Raj-DK’s first action-fantasy series set in a fictitious kingdom. Even as they are shooting The Family Man, they are constantly supervising Rakt Bramhand’s progress.
The sheer scale of the production is something they haven’t attempted before. We started shooting two weeks ago, and are currently canning some elaborate action sequences at Bahubali Studio in Borivali.
There will be a short 10-day break soon, after which we will regroup in October. Most of the shoot will take place on this set and in other parts of the city till February 2025.”
Samantha has officially confirmed the beginning of the shoot for the same through an Instagram post. She wrote, “Never stop dreaming. Glad to be back on a film set after a while”. Samantha also shared a picture of her ID that had a bloody crown on it which is a symbol of the Netflix series.
Disha Patani gave good wishes for Samantha. Disha also commented on the post and said, “All the best”.
The series ‘Rakt Brahmand – The Bloody Kingdom’ was made a while back with Aditya Roy Kapur and Samantha Ruth Prabhu playing the lead roles. Wamiqa Gabbi and Ali Fazal will be seen in the series.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that the lead actors, Aditya Roy Kapur and Samantha Ruth Prabhu had undergone the sword-fighting training to perfect their roles. Now, their skills are being their characters to life on screen.
Samantha is next set to appear in the web series called ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ with Varun Dhawan which is slated to release on 7th November,2024.
