The Mumbai Police, in connection with the ongoing investigation into a threatening message sent to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, arrested a vegetable seller from Jamshedpur on Wednesday.
The accused, identified as 24-year-old Shaikh Hussain Shaikh Mausin, allegedly sent a WhatsApp message to the Mumbai Traffic Police’s helpline, demanding Rs 5 crore from the actor. The threatening message prompted authorities to immediately file a case and launch an extensive investigation, leading to the swift arrest of the suspect.
