Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty reunited at the Mumbai private airport for travelling to Surat, Gujarat to attend an event. At the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024 (November 16) in Delhi, Akshay Kumar revealed that ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is in the making.
According to the actor, ‘Hera Pheri 3’ will go on floors next year. ‘Hera Pheri’ and ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ hold a special place in Bollywood. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal.
At the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, Akshay Kumar finally gave fans an update on ‘Hera Pheri 3.’ The Hera Pheri franchise which began in 2000 has become a cult in India. Fans still remember its characters, dialogues and comedy.
Akshay Kumar said at the event, “We’re just making Welcome at the moment, and as soon as producer’s ki hera pheri khatam ho jaye, woh phir hera pheri shuru kar denge! Just joking.” He also added, “I think by next year we’ll start it.”
Directed by Priyadarshan, ‘Hera Pheri’ was released in 2000. It featured Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Tabu in the lead roles. The second part, which came out in 2006, was directed by late Neeraj Vora. It featured Akshay, Paresh, Suniel, Bipasha Basu, Rajpal Yadav and Rimi Sen in the lead roles.
On the professional front, Akshay Kumar is currently seen in ‘Singham Again’, which hit the theatres this Diwali. The cop drama is directed by Rohit Shetty. He will be next seen in Sky Force, co-starring Nimrit Kaur and Sara Ali Khan, releasing in January 2025.
