Kapoor Family Meets PM Narendra Modi: Bollywood’s renowned Kapoor family recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to personally invite him to the upcoming Raj Kapoor Film Festival. The festival is set to commemorate the legendary actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor’s 100th birth anniversary.

The meeting took place on December 14, where top stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, and others were present. Kareena also took the opportunity to request an autograph from PM Modi for her two sons, Taimur and Jeh.

Sharing pictures of the meeting on social media, Kareena wrote, “We are truly honored to meet the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and invite him to celebrate our grandfather, the legendary Raj Kapoor’s life and legacy.” A group photograph of the Kapoor family with PM Modi has since gone viral.

About the Raj Kapoor Film Festival

The Raj Kapoor Film Festival is being organized in collaboration with PVR INOX Limited and the Film Heritage Foundation. The event will take place from December 13 to 15, marking the iconic filmmaker’s centenary year.

The festival will feature curated screenings of Raj Kapoor’s evergreen classics, including Awaara (1951), Shree 420 (1955), Sangam (1964), and Mera Naam Joker (1970). These screenings will be held in 101 theaters across 34 cities, celebrating the timeless contributions of the celebrated artist to Indian cinema.

The Kapoor family expressed their hopes that PM Modi will grace the event and honor Raj Kapoor’s unmatched legacy in Indian cinema.
