“I am a Muslim girl, but the people who troll me the most are Muslims themselves,” Uorfi stated. “They think I am ruining the image of Islam. Muslim men believe women should live within a set boundary, which I refuse to accept.”

My own father abandoned my mother, siblings, and me when we were young. My mother is very religious, but she never forced Islam upon us. My siblings still follow it, but I do not,” Uorfi revealed.

Interestingly, Uorfi also shared that she has been reading the Bhagavad Gita and wants to learn more about Hinduism. “I am currently reading the Bhagavad Gita and want to understand Hinduism better,” she added, further fueling debates around her religious stance.
