The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata Hai begins with Armaan performing the puja with Shivani and Abhira. Vidya watches in shock. She remarks that peace is impossible in this house. Armaan interrupts, asserting that God sees no difference among people. He invites Vidya to join the puja. Shivani acknowledges how hard it is to raise a child that isn’t one’s own and thanks Vidya. However, Kaveri insists that Shivani wants to replace Vidya, calling the situation inauspicious. Abhira assures Vidya that Shivani has no such intentions. Armaan urges them to resolve their issues.
Kaveri, feeling insulted, blames Shivani. She scoffs at Armaan, doubting Vidya and Shivani can ever make peace. Abhira tries to explain to Vidya, but Vidya takes a bold step, she demands that Armaan choose between her and Shivani. She states that the one he picks will be Madhav’s wife, his mother, and the family’s daughter-in-law.
Armaan is shocked. He refuses to make a choice. Shivani starts to speak, but Abhira stops her. Vidya remains firm, insisting that Armaan decide. Abhira pleads with her to understand his predicament, but Vidya turns the tables on Abhira, reminding her of Daksh. She questions if Abhira would have given up Daksh after raising him how she would have felt. She urges her to make Armaan understand.
Armaan questions why Vidya is dragging Abhira into this. Vidya replies that he is hesitating too much. She gives him one day to decide, leaving him stunned. Kaveri seizes the moment to taunt him.
Meanwhile, Ruhi and Rohit meet Kiara. Kiara expresses her wish to meet the Poddars, but Ruhi and Rohit are stunned to learn that Abhir stopped her. Elsewhere, Shivani accidentally collides with Madhav. Vidya tries to intervene, but Kaveri holds her back.
Later, Shivani apologizes to Madhav for stepping into his room by mistake. Vidya confronts Kaveri for stopping her earlier. Kaveri, however, questions Vidya’s decision to put Armaan in such a dilemma and involve Abhira. She warns that Abhira will never support Vidya. Vidya admits that she had tried to separate Armaan and Abhira but failed.
Shivani overhears this and pleads with Vidya and Kaveri not to create a rift between Armaan and Abhira. She disclosed that she she never wanted to return to Poddar house but Abhira and Armaan promised to manage everything. She expresses her desire to stay with Armaan. Kaveri, however, tries to manipulate her, warning that if she remains in the Poddar house, she will lose both Armaan and Abhira. Abhira overhears this conversation and is left shocked, realizing Kaveri is poisoning Shivani’s mind.
Now Armaan is at a battle within himself. Audience is thrilled to see whom will Armaan Choose.
