On February 28, he took to Instagram to share an emotional tribute to his late sister, Radha. It has been three years since her passing, but the pain remains fresh.
Vikas posted several pictures and videos in remembrance of his sister. He reflected on the immense loss he felt on this day in 2022. “Feb 28, 2022, was the saddest day of my life,” he wrote, recalling the heartbreak of losing his best friend and soulmate. Despite making progress in healing, he admitted that grief is unpredictable, without a clear end or structure. He made an effort to stay strong, reminding himself that Radha remains alive in his heart and through Bungalow. Every day, he honors her memory, celebrating the life she lived.
On this difficult day, he found a reason to smile, thanks to Farah Khan. He expressed gratitude to her for bringing laughter into his life when he needed it most. “Thank you, @farahkhankunder, for making me laugh so much today,” he shared. He ended his heartfelt post with the hashtags #ABrokenBrother and #BattlesOfLife.

Vikas has spoken openly about the loneliness he has felt since his sister’s passing. In a recent episode of Celebrity MasterChef, he revealed that festivals no longer hold the same joy for him. Diwali, once a special occasion filled with warmth and love, now feels empty. He recalled spending the festival alone in New York, missing the presence of his sister. He admitted that ever since she left, celebrations have lost their magic.
Radha’s passing was a devastating loss for Vikas. She battled Lupus for years before succumbing to multiple organ failure on February 28, 2022.
On the professional front, Vikas continues his journey as a judge on Celebrity MasterChef, alongside Ranveer Brar and Farah Khan. Despite the sorrow he carries, he continues to inspire and create, keeping his sister’s memory alive in his heart.
