Preity visited the holy cities of Prayagraj and Varanasi, completing a religious pilgrimage during the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri.
Taking to Instagram, Preity shared a heartfelt video showcasing the serene beauty of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Despite the heavy crowd, she expressed gratitude for a hassle-free darshan, emphasizing how her mother’s happiness made the entire journey worthwhile.
In her emotional note, Preity revealed that the trip was her mother’s desire to complete the Maha Kumbh Yatra in Varanasi. She wrote, “My mother wanted to finish our Maha Kumbh journey for Maha Shivratri in Varanasi, and I couldn’t refuse. Even though cars weren’t allowed beyond a certain point due to the crowd, we walked through the streets, took auto-rickshaws, and cycled our way to the temple. It was a magical experience.”
Expressing her admiration for the positive energy of the city, Preity added, “The crowd in Varanasi was overwhelming, but there was no negativity. The collective energy and people’s faith made the journey unforgettable.”
The actress also highlighted the importance of serving parents, stating that seeing her mother happy was the greatest blessing. She wrote, “I’ve never seen my mom this happy… Her smile was radiant. The greatest service is not just towards God, but towards our parents.”
