Yuvika Chaudhary is embracing motherhood with joy, and she believes it has brought immense positive changes to her life. The actress, along with her husband Prince Narula, welcomed their daughter, Ikleen, in October 2024. Describing her experience, she shares, “Becoming a mother is a gift, but it does alter your life.” The journey has been filled with sleepless nights and increased responsibilities, yet she finds solace in the love she feels for her little one. The physical changes that followed were initially confusing, but over time, she learned to accept them. “The body and mind take time to heal, but when I see my baby smile, I forget about everything,” she expresses. Motherhood, she says, has filled her with joy and a sense of completeness.
Before her pregnancy, Yuvika was actively working in television and web series, featuring in projects like Laal Ishq and Kumkum Bhagya. Now, she is eager to make a comeback. “I am working on getting back in shape, and I want to take up some good roles, no matter what the medium.” Her journey to motherhood was through IVF, requiring her to devote significant time to the process. “I had to give a lot of time initially to the entire process, which is why I had slowed down on the work front.” Once Ikleen arrived, she decided to focus entirely on her child. However, she now feels ready to return. Balancing both career and family is something she is confident about managing.
Amid the joys of parenthood, rumors surfaced about trouble in her marriage. Yuvika, however, remains unfazed. She assures that all is well between her and Prince, emphasizing that this new phase has only strengthened their bond. “This is a new journey for both of us. I didn’t react to rumors back then.” While she remained composed, Prince, being emotional, was affected by the speculation. She admits that she often sees no need to clarify baseless assumptions. “At one point, when I said Prince was busy, I meant he was busy with work. Then people started saying that I was living at my mother’s house, but that was because there was construction work going on in my house. I didn’t feel the need to explain things to people.”
The couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary last October, and reflecting on their relationship, Yuvika cherishes their journey. From being friends to dating, marrying, and now stepping into parenthood, each stage has brought its own lessons. “Every phase is different, from being friends to dating, getting married, and now becoming parents.” They have faced both joyous moments and challenging times, yet every experience has only strengthened their relationship. “As we keep moving forward, we realize that it has been an uplifting journey and only brought us closer,” she says.
Yuvika looks forward to the next chapter in her life, both as a mother and as an actress. She remains optimistic about the future, ready to embrace every opportunity that comes her way. Motherhood has given her a newfound perspective, and as she continues to navigate this journey, she feels nothing but gratitude for the life she has built with Prince and their daughter.
