Television actress Aditi Sharma has recently found herself at the center of controversy. Her private marriage to Abhineet Kaushik came to light on March 11, followed by serious allegations of infidelity. Abhineet accused Aditi of having an affair with her Apollena co-star, Samarthya Gupta. Now, in a candid interview, he has shared why Aditi wanted to keep their marriage hidden and how their relationship unfolded.
Speaking in an interview, Abhineet disclosed that Aditi was worried about how being married could impact her career. She thought it could become a roadblock and limit her opportunities. According to him, she believed that “marriage would be viewed as a taboo” and that it would lead to her being offered only low-budget projects. Because of this, she requested him to keep their marriage undisclosed.
Reflecting on their first meeting, Abhineet recalled that their paths crossed during an online acting class in the second lockdown of June 2021. He explained how their relationship progressed, stating, “I came to Bombay to meet her for four days, but on the fifth day, instead of going back, I decided to stay.” He described how their connection was mutual and not one-sided. Initially, Aditi lived with her parents, but after they returned in February 2022, she and Abhineet started staying together at each other’s homes.
Sharing more about his professional background, Abhineet mentioned that he has a degree in transportation design and has worked as a professor. However, he claimed that Aditi influenced him to step away from that profession. He alleged that he took on multiple responsibilities for her, including handling her PR, managing her accounts, and even performing household chores like cooking and driving.
Their relationship, according to him, remained stable until December 2024. Things started to shift when a new actor, Samarthya Gupta, joined Aditi’s show. Abhineet claimed he sensed a growing closeness between the two. He mentioned that despite his objections, Aditi invited Samarthya to their party. During that event, he felt a noticeable change in her behavior toward Samarthya.
As suspicions grew, Abhineet discovered flirtatious messages between Aditi and Samarthya. When he confronted her, she dismissed his concerns by saying, “Samarthya is young. He is my younger brother. Even he says that we are like siblings.” Abhineet, initially trusting her words, chose not to push the matter further. However, his doubts resurfaced when he later found more messages where Aditi and Samarthya referred to their bond as “Nanoship.”
One particular message stood out to Abhineet. He claimed that Samarthya addressed Aditi as “babydoll.” This prompted another confrontation, after which Aditi allegedly started deleting messages from her phone. As tensions escalated, both decided to legally separate.
