Prime Video released a trailer for Sara Ali Khan’s new movie, Ae Watan Mere Watan. The film is set during India’s Quit India Movement in 1942 and tells a real story of the country’s fight for independence.

The trailer takes us to the time before India gained independence. It showcases 22-year-old Usha, played by Sara Ali Khan, a college student in Bombay. She’s determined to help India become free, so she creates a secret radio station that plays a crucial role in the Quit India Movement.

The trailer depicts the scenario of the independence struggle between Indians and Britishers. It features Mahatma Gandhi’s character and many more characters from the independence era. The set-up and music will take us back to the emotions of patriotism.

Ae Watan Mere Watan: The Team and Cast Behind the Film

Ae Watan Mere Watan is directed by Kannan Iyer, and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra.

The movie features Sara Ali Khan, Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O’Nell, and Anand Tiwari. Emraan Hashmi makes a special appearance.

It will be available on Prime Video in India and overseas 240 countries on March 21 in Hindi, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
