Ajay Devgan bombs his Instagram with a new revelation for his fans and horror lovers. The actor posted the first look at his upcoming film which has a bone-chilling effect.
Ajay Devgan last seen in hit films like Bhola, Drishyam 2 and Thank God, will mark this year beginning with his upcoming black magic thriller Shaitan.
The news broke after the actor shared a post and a story on his official Instagram handle. He posted the first look of the film Shaitan and captioned it, “#Shaitaan is coming for you. Taking over cinemas on 8th March 2024.”
The poster bloody red in colour was titled Shaitan with the voodoo dolls, 5 in number. The movie being directed by Vikas Bahl will hit theatres on the 8th of March 2024. The film is being presented by Jio Studios, Ajay Devgan Films and Panorama Studios International. It will be produced by Ajay Devgan and Jyoti Deshpande alongside Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.
Looking at the poster, the movie seems to be quite intense and breathtaking on the horror front. The lead cast alongside Ajay Devgan are R. Madhavan and Jyotika. Shaitan is Jyotika’s comeback to Hindi cinema after not being in it for 25 years. She started her career in Bollywood with Doli Saja Ke Rakhna in 1997, then moved to Tamil films, and last appeared in a Hindi movie called Little Joh’ in 2001. Additionally, Shaitan will be the first Bollywood film for Janki Bodiwala, an important cast of the film.
Other Projects
Madhavan is working on a cricket drama called Test, a movie directed by Mithran Jawahar called Adhirshtasaali, and a biopic on GD Naidu. Ajay Devgn is set to appear in the third Singham movie, titled Singham Again, releasing on August 15, 2024. He also announced a sequel to Raid, with Riteish Deshmukh playing the antagonist. Recently, they held a muhurat puja in Mumbai for the film.
