Akshay Kumar and Ananya Pandey were supposed to be seen together in the movie which is a biopic of C. Sankaran Nair, which was produced by Karan Johar.

But it seems like the audience have to wait for sometime to see this movie on big screen because according to various sources the movie is delayed.

The decision to put the film on hold has sparked a flurry of rumors and speculation.

The shooting for the movie is already completed, the makers are delaying the release indefinitely. One significant factor is the legal complications surrounding the portrayal of historical figures and events and other is the producers are concerned about the box office revenue the movie will be able to make.

The movie is said to be released when the makers find a safe release date so that it do not clash with other big movie.

This delay also raise a question on Karan Johar’s Dharma production. There are rumours going around for some time that Karan Johar might be selling his production house. Will this be and end of a production house which has given Bollywood so many memorable movies?

The biopic, tentatively titled The Untold Story of C. Sankaran Nair, aimed to bring to light the inspiring journey of the man who played a pivotal role in the fight for India’s independence. C. Sankaran Nair, who was an Indian Lawyer and statesman served as the President of the Indian National Congress in 1897 and later as a judge of the Madras High Court, is best known for his courageous stance against the British Empire, particularly in the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

Akshay Kumar, known for his portrayal of real-life heroes, was cast in the lead role as C. Sankaran Nair. Ananya Pandey’s onset pics were leaked sometime ago. It seemed like she was playing a lawyer.

The delay also represents a broader challenge for Bollywood, which has increasingly turned to biopics as a popular genre.

As of now, there is no official word on when or if the film will resume production.

For now, fans of Akshay Kumar and Ananya Panday will have to wait and see if this ambitious portrayal of C. Sankaran Nair’s life will eventually make it to the big screen.
