Maria criticized the use of elephants in the event, stating that they were treated as mere props. The issue gained attention when Ivanka Trump posted pictures from the event, showing her posing in front of an elephant, confirming their use as props.

Maria Goretti Expressed Disappointment On Instagram
Maria shared her disappointment on Instagram stories after seeing Ivanka’s picture. She expressed surprise at the treatment of animals in the Ambani celebration, especially elephants that have been rescued and given a new life at Vantara in Jamnagar. Maria mentioned it was heartbreaking to see an elephant used as a prop amidst people and noise, despite the claimed special care for these rescued elephants by the Ambani family.
Arshad Warsi’s Wife Maria Goretti wrote, “I am appalled at this picture of Ambani celebration. I don’t think this should happen to any animal. Especially with those who have been rescued and given a new life. It is heartbreaking that this elephant has been made to stand as a prop. That too amidst people and noise”.
