According to a report, a sequel to the 2012 hit Bollywood film Cocktail is in the works, with Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan in talks for the lead roles. Cocktail was a comeback Blockbuster for Deepika Padukone. The movie depicts the modern generation speaking about the issues of a youth’s dilemma with love and friendship. It was a hit, soft, romantic, fun entertainer.
Reportedly, Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan are discussing roles in Cocktail 2, as per News18. The actresses were seen outside Maddock Films, known for the Cocktail series, sparking widespread discussion. The original Cocktail, released in 2012, starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty, becoming a super hit. The film portrayed a captivating friendship-love story. Diana Penty made her film debut with Cocktail, which also featured Randeep Hooda and Dimple Kapadia.

The movie has Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff in the lead. But the casting of Ananya Pandey has not been confirmed officially. Desi Boyz originally starred Akshay Kumar and John Abraham.
