Director Anil Sharma Criticizes Young Bollywood Actors

Anil Sharma, known for directing blockbuster films like “Gadar” and “Gadar 2”, has recently made headlines with his candid remarks. In an interview, Sharma openly criticized the current generation of actors, stating that apart from a few, most have lost their value and are no longer a draw for the audience.

Sharma’s blunt comments highlight his belief that today’s actors are not compelling enough to attract viewers to theaters. He remarked, “The era when we made films with stars like Dharmendra, and tickets were booked a week in advance, is over. Now, audiences are not coming to theaters to watch you. They reluctantly watch you on OTT platforms. Even then, they might watch two films for the price of one, and you wouldn’t even know if your film is a hit or a flop. You’re living in your own world.”

Sharma also criticized actors for increasing their expenses despite their films not performing well in theaters. He emphasized that only a few actors in the industry still hold enough value to draw audiences to theaters.
