Fans Are Excited to See SRK’s Pathaan in ‘War 2’

Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming film ‘War 2’ stars actor Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani and Jr. NTR in lead roles. If recent reports are to be believed, the makers have some extravagant plans in store for ‘War 2’. It is known that Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ is likely to make a cameo role in the YRF Spy Universe.

As per a report in ‘Dainik Bhaskar’, SRK will appear in ‘War 2’. He will make his entry during the end credits. The sequel to the blockbuster ‘War’ (2019) stars Kiara Advani as the leading lady. Last month, Kiara and Hrithik wrapped up a schedule in Itali.

‘War 2’ is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra. The movie is scheduled to release in theatres on 14th August, 2025. Hrithik Roshan and Jr.NTR are preparing to shoot the climax in November 2024.

According to a source, “The pre-production is on at YRF to design the biggest climax block of all time featuring two of the biggest superstars – Hrithik Roshan and Jr.NTR. while a part of the climax will be shot in Mumbai, a part of it shifts to another undisclosed location.”

Spy Universe will include ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’ (starring Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan) and ‘Pathaan 2’ film. If reports are to be believed, SRK will shoot his part for the film next year.

A source revealed “Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan is definitely a character that has resonated with the audiences, and there is a constant on-ground demand from the audience to see more of SRK in the spy avatar.

Soon after the release in January 2024, Adi and SRK had decided to spin ‘Pathaan’ into a standalone franchise too within the Spy Universe, and the former started ideating the sequel of this all-time blockbuster.”
