Hema Malini attended the launch of Gulzar’s authorized biography ‘Gulzar Saab: Hazar Rahein Mud Ke Dekhin’ in Mumbai.
At the event many dignitaries were present. The event was huge and the actress aka politician seemed unhappy with the paparazzi asking for selfies. In a video from the event, she said, “We’re not here to take selfies.”
Hema, along with other guests like Vishal Bhardwaj and Gulzar, was part of the event discussing Gulzar’s films, songs, stories, poems, and literary works.
Some fans were upset, calling her response rude and comparing her to Jaya Bachchan, who is known for getting upset with paparazzi in Mumbai.
Hema launched the biography at the event and shared emotional and great experiences with the Gulzar.
Well, the event seemed very harmonious though Hema Malini’s reaction seemed unfair to fans. Fans considered the response of hema as rude.
Hema Malini’s recent project
Hema Malini’s latest film was “Shimla Mirchi,” released in 2020, where she starred alongside Rajkummar Rao and Rakul Preet Singh. Originally planned for a 2015 theater release, the film faced delays for reasons that were not confirmed.
