Huma Qureshi gave a detailed interview to India Today where she spoke about her work, Like Maharani season 3, and shared her opinion on projects like Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar and Animal. In the conversation, Huma said that it’s an artist’s fascination to play different roles.
Huma clearly reflected interest in doing a film like Animal, where she can wield a machine gun and engage in intense action. She praised the machismo, action, and music of the film, considering it very crafty. Huma acknowledged the polarizing nature of Animal and stated that diverse films should be made for the audience to choose from. She emphasized that as an actor, it’s exciting to be part of destructive roles, citing examples like Wolf of Wall Street.
Regarding the reactions to Animal, Huma mentioned the ongoing debates about the impact of films on society. Huma believes that if films had a significant impact, society should have improved by now.
