Yesterday, Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan shared the news of her getting into the Indian institute of Management, Ahmedabad. While her family and childhood bestie Ananya Panday, Suhana Khan are proud of her achievement. The internet doesn’t seem to be happy about it.

This has caused a lot of confusion and questions among netizens.

While one half of the internet is congratulating and praising her for achieving this milestone in her career. The, other half is continuously questioning her credibility to get into IIM.

Her social media is flooded with questions of how she get into this course; “Did she pay a huge amount or did she use the connections of her grandfather?”

Every social media platform, be it Instagram, Twitter aka X or Reddit is flooded with these questions.

Navya has clarified that she is apart of BPGP course, which is a 2 year hybrid program. Though this doesn’t lessons the suspension people have for her.

On X, an IIM processor was ask about Navya’s CAT score.

“Did she really got those crazy 99.99 percentile?” asked an X user.

Professor Promila Agarwal, clarifyied that Navya actually have an excellent CV which got her into IIM and people are trying to cut off her credibility and hard work by saying that she got solid connections and generational wealth to get into this elite business school.

Navya Naveli Nanda is going through a tough time. On one hand, she got into IIM which she and her family should be celebrating and be proud about but one the other she is going to have a tough time explaining the netizens that she is smart enough to into into IIM on her own merits.
