The Indian Idol 14 winner was announced yesterday, Sunday, 3rd March and the singer Vaibhav Gupta who lifted the trophy of the season shared his dreams and aspirations with Indian Express after the victory.
25 lakh with A Brezza for the Winner Vaibhav Gupta
Vaibhav Gupta, from Kanpur, won the Indian Idol 14 competition on Sunday. Along with taking home a trophy and a prize money of Rs 25 lakh, Vaibhav also got a Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
Indian Idol 14 Winner: Vaibhav’s Victory among Six Finalists
The winner was announced with the help of Live voting. He won among the six finalists Adya Mishra, Ananya Pal, Vaibhav, Piyush Panwar, Subhadeep Das, and Anjana Padmanabhan. Vaibhav impressed judges Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Kumar Sanu throughout the season. And his final performance received praise from guest Sonu Nigam. After winning, Vaibhav expressed that he sees this victory as a responsibility.

Dreams in Bollywood
In an exclusive talk with Indianexpress.com, Vaibhav expressed his happiness with the result and the dreams he wishes to conquer. Vaibhav said, “I feel good to call myself the winner of Indian Idol 14. People have loved me a lot. Dreams are coming true, this is just the start. God willing, I wish to enter Bollywood now. With the love and appreciation I was getting, I was hopeful that I could win this. Especially, when Mahesh Bhatt whistled for me, I loved that moment. I keep playing it in my head.”
Music Studio with the 25 lakh rupees Prizemoney
The singer wants to open his studio where he can create music of his choice and now as he received 25 lakh rupees as prizemoney he will use this money for same. “I want to make my dream studio with the winning amount. I want this studio to create the kind of music I want to. I plan to make some music videos people.” quoted by Indian Express.
This Victory is the Responsibility of Vaibhav Gupta
The singer told Indian express, “This win has made me more focused now. It has become an added responsibility, and now I want to give the fans even better.”
As a playback singer, Vaibhav dreams to sing for Bollywood stars “I want to do playback singing for Vicky Kaushal, Salman Khan, and Ranveer Singh now. I will try my best that this happens someday.”

Vaibhav expressed his love for 90’s music and believes this era is golden for retro style. “I want to bring back live music, the symphony kinds. The 90s feel is now coming back. People are listening to Kishore Da again, and this generation is focusing more on the melody. It is a very good era of music, and I want to present a new wave in it.”
Indian Idol season 14 came to an end very beautifully, though the winner’s trophy goes to Vaibhav Gupta but the exemplary talent showcased on the reality Television show by all the contestants is worth praising. This stage has produced many talents for the music industry and Bollywood and this season adds more talents to serve the serenity of music.
