The biggest highlight of the year which catered to all the B-town celebrities under one roof, Mukesh Ambani’s grand event, was missed by Karan Johar. Though the star-maker wasn’t absent in the guestlist surely he was absent from the 3-day celebration which took place from 1st-3rd March in the Jamnagar, Gujarat.
Recently Karan Johar shared the sweetest moment from the Ambani’s Pre-Wed gala, which is already going viral on the internet. The post quickly grabbed the attention of the netizens causing curiosity about his absence from the festivities.
Karan Johar Showers Well Wishes for the Couple
Karan shared a post to congratulate the couple of the eve Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant with the caption, “Heartiest congratulations to Anant and @radhikamerchant! The celebrations were not only deeply immersed in warmth, family bonds, and immense love but so beautifully resonant with our glorious Indian traditions…The pre-wedding festivities are a testament to the love the family has in everyone’s hearts! Why Karan Johar couldn’t attend the event
Karan Johar was invited to the pre-wedding event where he planned to dance with Manish Malhotra. Unfortunately, he fell ill with a viral fever and sore throat at the last minute, forcing him to stay in Mumbai for health reasons.
It was the reason behind Manish performing with young stars Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Khushi Kapoor. They danced to the popular song “Bole Chudiyan” from Karan’s 2001 movie. Manish had previously designed costumes for the iconic stars who originally featured in the song, including Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor.
