Yesterday, the trailer of Karmma Calling was launched where the cast could be seen blowing away the dust of minimalism and raising the bar as the revenge drama caste Raveena Tandon, Namrata Seth, Varun Sood, and others in very interesting characters.
Karmma Calling: Brief Plot
Karmma Calling will be a revenge drama where the magnanimous Indrani Kothari a former star actor played by Raveena Tandon will get married to a billionaire and the star will become Rajmata of Alibaug.
She’ll be holding a position very strong and powerful. The family believes in no rules and mending the equations as per their need
But the life of Indrani Kothari will turn sour after Karma Talwar, a mysterious girl enters the life of the family. The girl Karma will bring the consciousness of the 90’s glamour queen Indrani Kothari.
Indrani is seen stating wondrous dialogue like, ‘Not to fear God but to karma, as God might forget but karma won’t’, well such dialogues have gained the trailer much-needed anticipation. Also puts light on the revenge girl karma.
The story, coming from the pocket of Suchita Narain, seems to be an interesting battle between the two women. The Queen Indrani Kothari is ready to make you bleed blue to protect her throne but believes in karma. On the other hand, Karma Talwar is hungry for the blood of the Kothari family and is like a call of karma for Indrani Kothari.

The trailer has amazed the fans. It is to be seen through what ways the web series gonna surprise you and is worth the hype or not. The story is based on an American show ‘Revenge’, so the bar has to be raised, which is yet to be seen.
While speaking with India today, Raveena Tandon spoke about the series,
“Playing Indrani Kothari helped me explore a very different aspect of myself as an actor, it is unlike any characters I have played before. I am experimenting with my characters. Indrani is powerful, and strong-headed and wants to maintain her position in the elitist society. She has secrets to hide but her life is altered in many ways as Karma Talwar enters the picture but she is not a woman to give in to her Karma that easily. Karmma Calling is a tale of the glamorous, powerful Indrani Kothari and the enigmatic Karma Talwar and it’ll surely keep the audiences on Disney+ Hotstar hooked”.
The web series will be available on Disney+hotstar. All episodes will be streaming from 26th January.
