Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan recently spoke about his comparisons with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. Kartik Aaryan shared his thoughts with Bollywood Hungama that he wanted to do a comedy film with Akshay Kumar.
Kartik Aaryan is often compared to Akshay Kumar. They are known for their connection with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise. The original film featured Akshay Kumar in lead role, while ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ are led by Kartik Aaryan. Kartik also called himself a ‘big fan’ of Kumar in a recent interview.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kartik Aaryan spoke about his fond memories of watching the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa many times on TV. “I have watched the film a lot of times on TV.
It has a good repeat value. I still remember how Vidya ma’am scared everyone with her performance. It was actually very scary to watch, though it belongs to a psychological thriller. Its genre itself was different.”
He continued, “Later, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was changed into horror and comedy, and the same is repeated for the third part.” He also said, “I remember Akshay Kumar sir’s performance, and Rajpal Yadav sir’s character Chota Pandit; for me, it’s a wholesome film. I have always enjoyed watching it again and again.”
Kartik Aaryan also revealed about his comparisons with Akshay Kumar and said, “I have been his big fan. I think I can’t see myself competing with him. When people compare me with him, I only feel weird.
It started with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Now, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is coming, so it comes automatically in people’s minds. But I still say the comparison is not possible.”
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ also features Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri in key roles. It will hit theaters on 1st November. The movie is expected to have a box office clash with Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor starrer ‘Singham Again’ on 1st November.
