Kartik Aaryan Shares the Pressure of Hosting IIFA: The grand IIFA Awards Night 2024 is in full swing, and Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, who is hosting the event, opened up about the immense pressure of following in the footsteps of Shah Rukh Khan.
Speaking to the media, Kartik confessed,
“Yes, it’s a lot of pressure! They gave me this huge responsibility, which makes it even more intense. But it’s a truly special moment, and I’m super excited.”
The IIFA Awards 2024 is celebrating its 25th anniversary in Jaipur, Rajasthan, making it an even more significant event. Kartik further added,
“Hosting IIFA is a big deal, especially in its silver jubilee year. I hope to give my best performance.”
Kartik Aaryan’s Excitement & Major Nominations
Expressing his enthusiasm, Kartik said,
“I’m really looking forward to IIFA’s 25th anniversary, and hosting it makes it even more special. I couldn’t be more thrilled!”
Adding to his excitement, his film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has received seven nominations, making it a major highlight of the night. Meanwhile, Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies leads the race with nine nominations.
Star-Studded IIFA Awards Night
The IIFA Digital Awards, held on March 8, witnessed big wins by Kriti Sanon, Jitendra Kumar (Panchayat 3), and Amar Singh Chamkila. The main awards night, hosted by Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar, began on March 9.
MMA legend and combat sports star Anthony Pettis is among the special guests at the event. Additionally, Kareena Kapoor Khan will deliver a tribute performance for her legendary grandfather, Raj Kapoor.
Earlier in the day, a special screening of Sholay was held at the iconic Rajmandir Cinema, commemorating its 50th anniversary.
