Jio Studios and Aamir Khan productions’ ‘Laapataa Ladies’, directed by Kiran Rao, has now been released in Japan on 4th October after its entry to the Oscars 2025. After its successful run in India, the film is poised to make waves in Japan.

The film was screened as ‘Where is the Bride’ in Japan, and one lady was seen attending the event in a red outfit, hiding her face like the brides (Phool and Jaya) in the film. The makers have also come up with a special Japanese poster of the film.
