Mumbai Police has achieved a major breakthrough by arresting a songwriter from Karnataka who allegedly issued a death threat to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The accused, identified as Sohail Pasha, was apprehended from Raichur, Karnataka, following a detailed investigation. Pasha reportedly threatened Salman Khan and demanded a ransom of ₹5 crore.
The case emerged when the Mumbai Traffic Control Room received a threatening message targeting Salman Khan and a singer. Police immediately launched an investigation, uncovering shocking facts during the probe. They tracked down the origin of the message, leading to Pasha’s arrest.
How the Police Caught Pasha
During the investigation, the police traced the threatening message to a mobile number registered under a man named Venkatesh Narayanan from Karnataka. When questioned, Narayanan revealed he had lent his phone to another person, later identified as Sohail Pasha. This revelation helped police zero in on the real culprit.
Publicity Stunt Gone Wrong
When questioned, Pasha admitted he issued the threat to gain publicity. He hoped associating his name with Salman Khan would bring him fame and elevate his career. His misguided attempt at stardom has now landed him in police custody, where further investigation is ongoing.
