Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had to leave their fancy house in Los Angeles due to water damage causing mould issues. The house that the celeb couple bought in Los Angeles for $20 million in September 2019 after their grand wedding conducted in Rajasthan in December 2018.
Recently, the couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, along with their two-year-old daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, moved to another property, and it’s unclear when they’ll return. Their current home is unoccupied and not rented, facing problems like mould contamination and water leaks, making it unfit to live in, as stated in a lawsuit filed in May 2023. The couple is currently engaged in a legal dispute with the individuals who sold them the house.
The Fancy Mansion
The LA mansion has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a wine room, an indoor basketball court, a bowling alley, a home theatre, an entertainment lounge, a spa, a gym, and a billiards room. Priyanka Chopra shared pictures of the property on Instagram.
Chopra and Jonas are asking for additional damages in their lawsuit. According to Page Six, the lawsuit mentions that the couple is seeking reimbursement for all repair costs and compensation for the inconvenience and other damages caused by the defendants. The report indicates that the repair expenses might be more than $1.5 million, possibly reaching up to $2.5 million (around Rs 13 to 20 crores).
Nick Jonas’s Recent India Visit
Nick Jonas recently visited India along with his brothers, Kevin and Joe Jonas. The Jonas brothers band was invited to the Lollapalooza India 2024 musical event. The event was conducted at Mahalaxmi race course, Mumbai, on January 27-28. It was a star-studded musical fest with a huge crowd. Also, Nick received applause from many Bollywood celebrities like Tapsee Pannu, who posted a story calling Nick ‘Jiju’.
The crowd went wild when Kevin called Nick ‘Jiju.’ Before the set, ‘Galla Goodiyaan’ from the film ‘Dil Dhadakane Do,’ starring Priyanka, was played. The Jonas Brothers’ performance in India was a hit, with Nick joking about his own sangeet performance. Priyanka Chopra expressed gratitude to Mumbai for welcoming Nick Jonas, who performed with the Jonas Brothers at Lollapalooza India.
Priyanka Chopra on the Work Front
Priyanka Chopra hasn’t been in any Hindi movies since 2019’s The Sky Is Pink. Although she was announced as one of the stars in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, the project hasn’t started yet. In Hollywood, Priyanka was last seen in Citadel and will be seen next in Heads of State alongside Idris Elba and John Cena.
