Ram Gopal Varma Joins Politics

Ram Gopal Varma decided to enter the political arena after the Telugu Desam Party-Bharatiya Janata-Jan Sena Party (JSP) coalition announced Tollywood actor and JSP chief Pawan Kalyan’s candidacy for the same seat.

Last year, Varma released a film called ‘Vyohm‘ which depicted the political scenario of Andhra Pradesh. This led to demands from local leaders for his expulsion from the state, as the film revolves around the circumstances of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s death.

In a separate development, Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh also declared his intention to run for the Lok Sabha elections. He shared his decision on social media, stating his commitment to fulfilling promises made to his society and mother. Although it’s not confirmed yet where he will contest, there’s speculation that he might run from his hometown Ara.
