Ranbir Kapoor Shares His Dream: Bollywood’s heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, a prominent fourth-generation member of the Kapoor family, has always cherished the cinematic legacy of his family. Raj Kapoor, a legendary filmmaker and actor, gifted the Hindi film industry with timeless masterpieces.
At the recently held 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, Ranbir opened up about his career and personal life, including his daughter Raha. While speaking about the trend of film remakes, he shared his vision of recreating his grandfather’s iconic films.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Views on Film Remakes
During the discussion, Ranbir mentioned, “I’m not a big fan of remakes as I believe every film is crafted to perfection in its time. Tampering with classics can sometimes diminish their charm. However, if I had to choose, I’d love to remake Raj Kapoor’s Shree 420. It’s my favorite. Another film I’d love to revisit is Sangam.”
Kapoor Legacy Lives On
The Kapoor family has ruled Bollywood for decades, and Ranbir continues to carry forward the torch. If he takes on a project to remake Raj Kapoor’s films, it promises to be a tribute filled with grandeur and emotion. Fans are eagerly awaiting updates on whether this dream project materializes.
