Salman Khan’s much-anticipated action entertainer Sikandar has stormed its way into the ₹200 crore club globally. Despite an underwhelming start, the AR Murugadoss directorial has picked up momentum, collecting a staggering ₹200.93 crore worldwide by its ninth day of release. The film is now outperforming Salman’s previous outing, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and is closing in on bigger box office milestones.

According to a statement shared by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment on Instagram, the film grossed ₹2.48 crore in India and ₹1 crore overseas on Monday, pushing its worldwide gross over ₹200 crore. “Thank you for making #Sikandar a part of your celebration. We’re grateful for the love,” the producers wrote in a celebratory post.

As per Sacnilk’s data, the film earned ₹1.75 crore net in India on Monday alone. So far, it has garnered ₹104.25 crore net and ₹123.65 crore gross domestically. This places its nine-day global earnings at ₹200.93 crore—marking a significant leap from Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan which earned ₹158 crore globally during the same period.

However, Sikandar still lags behind Salman Khan’s mega-hit Tiger 3, which amassed ₹384.45 crore worldwide in its first nine days. That said, the current performance suggests the film could soon overtake Sankranthiki Vasthunam (₹255.2 crore) to become the third-highest-grossing Indian film of the year, behind L2 Empuraan and Chhaava.
