According to Koimoi data, Sanam Teri Kasam’s re-release witnessed a massive surge in ticket bookings. On its first Saturday, the film recorded 1,57,000 bookings on BookMyShow, making it the second-highest ticket-seller of 2025. The only film ahead of it is Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force, with 2,99,000 bookings. Other notable re-releases include Deva (1,00,000 bookings) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (98,000 bookings).
Outperforms New Releases at the Box Office
The buzz around Sanam Teri Kasam is so strong that it has even surpassed the earnings of recently released films. Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s LuvYappa has collected ₹4.45 crore in three days, while BaadAss Ravi Kumar has made ₹6.15 crore. In contrast, Sanam Teri Kasam has far exceeded these numbers, proving that audience nostalgia and word-of-mouth can work wonders for re-releases.
With such an overwhelming response, it remains to be seen how much further Sanam Teri Kasam can climb at the box office in its second innings.
