Another Feather in Shah Rukh Khan’s Cap

On Saturday, Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the Pardo alla Carriera Award at the 2024 Locarno Film Festival. In his acceptance speech, Shah Rukh expressed his gratitude, saying, “I want to thank you all for welcoming me with such warmth in this beautiful, cultural, and artistic city of Locarno. The welcome I’ve received here is even more incredible than the one I get on the screen. This place feels so warm and crowded, just like home in India. Thank you so much for having me here. The last two evenings have been amazing.”

Shah Rukh Khan’s Heartfelt Thanks in Hindi

During his speech, a fan shouted, “I love you,” to which Shah Rukh responded, “I love you too.” He humorously mentioned, “I had a great day, the food was excellent, my Italian is improving, and I’m getting better at cooking.”

He joked in Italian and translated in Hindi, saying, “I can now make pasta and pizza. I’m learning here in Locarno.” Shah Rukh concluded his speech by expressing his heartfelt gratitude in Hindi, “From the depths of my heart and on behalf of the entire India, I want to thank you all. Namaskar and thank you. God bless you all.”
