Diljit Dosanjh, the popular singer and actor, is reportedly married to an American-Indian woman and they have a son who lives in America with his mother. According to a close friend of Diljit who spoke to The Indian Express anonymously, Diljit is a very private person, and his wife, son, and parents reside in the US. Recent reports also suggest that Diljit’s wife’s name is Sandeep Kaur and they live in America with their son.
There have been previous instances where rumours about Diljit’s marriage surfaced online, including an old Reddit thread featuring a picture of Diljit with a woman outside a gurudwara. Some of his long-time fans claim to have known about his marriage and son since his regional singing days, stating that he moved his family to America due to death threats.
Internet sleuths also noted instances where during lockdown, when Diljit posted cooking videos on social media, his Alexa mentioned his wife’s name. Additionally, during the promotion of the movie Good News, Kiara Advani hinted at Diljit having a child during an interview. Despite these hints, Diljit has chosen not to comment on his personal life, purportedly to shield his family from online trolling and negativity.
