In the midst of promoting her next horror comedy, Stree 2, is Shraddha Kapoor. It follows up on her hugely successful 2018 movie, Stree. Amar Kaushik, the film’s director, also stars Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee. Three of the film’s songs have been released thus far, and the reception from viewers has been incredible. After six years of waiting, fans are eager to see what the creators have in store for them in the sequel.
Over the course of her ten-plus year career, Shraddha Kapoor has starred in a number of intriguing films. She has worked on action and dance movies, horror, romantic comedies, and tragic romances. The actor plans to explore the realm of time travel soon. According to rumours, Kapoor’s upcoming movie will explore the theme of time travel; little information about the story or actors has been disclosed.
Additionally, according to the India TV source, Shraddha Kapoor would play a separatist in the movie Naagin. The director of the paranormal drama will be Nikhil Dwivedi. Similar to the time travel movie, neither the characters nor the plot are disclosed.
The actress last appeared in the romantic comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (2023), directed by Luv Ranjan. Ranbir Kapoor plays the main character in the movie as well. Regarding Stree 2, it will be released in theaters on August 15, 2024. The creators revealed their intentions for the third instalment at the trailer’s release, thereby validating Stree 3.
The horror comedy of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor will square off against Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein. Starring in KKM are Aditya Seal, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, and Akshay Kumar. The Veda, on the other hand, mentions John Abraham and Sharvari. Akshay is rumoured to make a brief appearance in Stree 2.
