RJ Raunac, also known as Bauaa, recently received an award at the National Digital Creators Award ceremony. Out of 150,000 nominations, only 23 individuals, including him, were recognized in the most creative category.

RJ Raunac expressed his delight, calling it a significant honor as these national awards for creators were held for the first time. He was nominated by others, and the whole process happened quite suddenly with a short timeline between the nomination and the announcement of winners.

Raunac shared the moment from the ceremony. He said, “It felt amazing when the Prime Minister honored me with an award. I felt proud when the host announced my name. And Prime Minister said, “Raunac ne RJ word ko famous kardia” (Raunac made the term ‘RJ’ famous). It’s nice to know my small contribution earned such recognition. I appreciate it a lot. I’m the only radio person nominated as a content creator, which is an honor for the entire radio industry. I even joked with the Prime Minister, saying we’re colleagues in the same industry– You do ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ and I do ‘Fun Ki Baat.'”
Raunac Expressed Hopefulness from The Recognition
RJ Raunac is hopeful about the next edition of the awards, especially for Gen Z and aspiring content creators. He believes the recent event inspired many, as it was introduced by PM Modi.
