Adah Sharma starrer Bastar- The Naxal Story is gaining momentum. The teaser for Sudipto Sen and Vipul Shah’s movie has been released, and it’s notably political. Adah Sharma takes on the role of IPS Neerja Madhavan, promising an unwavering commitment to confront Naxals.
The Kerala story actress Adah Sharma shared the teaser of the film on her social media handle. In the caption, she wrote, “A story of coloured red with the blood of innocent people! Capture the untold story…Bastar the naxal story.” The movie is reportedly inspired by a true event. It is scheduled to premiere on March 15.
In the teaser video, Adah’s character is introduced in a soldier-at-war appearance while being at her office. She takes on a furious monologue and says, “Pakistan me huye humare 4 yuddho me humare 8738 jawan shahid huye. Lekin kya aapko pata hai humare desh ke andar Naxaliyo ne 15000 jawano ki hatya ki hai?”, in English, While 8,738 Indian soldiers lost their lives in four wars with Pakistan, it’s worth noting that Naxals have accounted for a significant toll, claiming the lives of 15,000 soldiers on their own.
Adah further continues her deadly monologue, claiming to conduct a mass shootdown in public, “Bastar me humare 76 jawano ko Naxaliyon ne badi kroorata se mara tha aur tab iska jashn manaya gaya JNU me. Sochiye humari desh ki itni pratishthit university humari jawano ki shahadat par jashn manati ha. Kaha se ati hai aisi soch? Bastar me Bharat ke tukde karne ki shajish kar rahe hai ye Naxali aur unka sath de rahe hai bade shehro me baithe left, liberal, pseudo intellectuals. In vaampanthiyo ko sadak pe khada kar sare aam goli mar dungi. Chadha dena phasi par”. In English, JNU celebrated when 76 soldiers lost their lives in Bastar.
