‘Crew’ Movie Review: For the last few years, Bollywood actresses have been performing exceptionally well in films. Now, the action in films doesn’t solely rely on the hero; heroines are also taking up this responsibility. Bollywood actresses are now not confined to just love, affection, and romance. The film ‘Crew,’ directed by Rajesh Krishnan, exemplifies this shift.
‘Crew’ Movie Review
‘Crew’ Movie Review in one word would be that this film is amazing. Audiences have eagerly awaited its release, which has finally happened today in theaters. Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Tabu, Kapil Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda play the lead roles.
Tabu stars as Geeta Sethi- In-flight Supervisor, Kohinoor Airlines, Kareena Kapoor Khan as Jasmin Kohli – Senior Flight Attendant, Kriti Sanon as Divya Rana – Junior Flight Attendant, Diljit Dosanjh as Jai Singh Rathore- Sub Inspector, CBI., and Kapil Sharma appears in the role of Arun – Special Guest Appearance. Additionally, Rajesh Sharma portrays Prithviraj Mittal – CFO of Kohinoor Airlines, and Saswata Chatterjee Vijay Walia – Chairman of Kohinoor Airlines.
In the film, Geeta, Jasmine, and Divya work at Vijay Walia’s Kohinoor Airlines. Geeta lives with her husband Arun, who is facing financial difficulties. Jasmine resides with her maternal grandfather (Kulbhushan Kharbanda), while Divya, a top-ranking student from Haryana, aspires to become a pilot but is currently an air hostess. Overall, all three are dealing with financial crises.
Meanwhile, a senior Rajvanshi of the airline dies on a flight, and the three air hostesses discover gold biscuits near his body. Although tempted, none of them steal the biscuits. However, upon learning that Kohinoor Airlines has gone bankrupt and Vijay Walia has fled abroad, the three air hostesses become involved in gold smuggling. To discover what unfolds next, you’ll need to watch the entire film in cinemas.
Director Rajesh Krishnan introduces something novel. You’ll thoroughly enjoy the first half, as the film is filled with action and maintains a good pace. However, you might feel a bit disappointed in the second half, as events unfold rapidly, almost as if the film is rushing to its conclusion.
The film’s songs are already popular on social media and will be a treat to watch on the big screen. Raj Ranjodh and Bharg’s music in ‘Naina,’ ‘Ghaghra,’ and ‘Choli Ke Peeche,’ featuring the voices of Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah, are sure to captivate you. Overall, you can watch this film once without getting bored.
