Golden Globes 2024 Award Winners For Films
Beating Greta Gerwig for Barbie, Martin Scorsese for Killers of the Flower Moon, Yorgos Lanthimos for Poor Things, and other nominees, Christopher Nolan bagged the Golden Globes 2024 award for Best Director in Motion Picture for his blockbuster film Oppenheimer.
As much expected, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer secured the award for Best Motion Picture in the Drama category this year. Cillian Murphy won his first Golden Globes 2024 award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture under the Drama category for his excellent acting skills in Oppenheimer.
Next in the line was Robert Downey Jr., who was honored with the award of Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture. Ludwig Göransson brought Oppenheimer another award under the Best Original Score- Motion Picture category.
The movie Barbie made theaters colorful when it came out and won the first-ever Box Office Achievement Award by earning $1.4 billion worldwide, beating Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Oppenheimer, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and other nominees.
Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things won the Best Motion Picture in the Musical or Comedy category award, beating Barbie.
Anatomy of a Fall won the Best Motion Picture in Non-English Language award.
Pop artist Billie Eilish, along with Finneas O’Connell, won the Golden Globes Award for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture for their song, What Was I Made For?
Emma Stone won the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture– Musical or Comedy award for her revolutionary performance in the movie Poor Things.
Killers of the Flower Moon actress Lily Gladstone won the Golden Globes Best Female Actor Award. The Boy and the Heron beat Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and other nominees to take the title of Best Animated Movie at the Golden Globes 2024.
Golden Globes 2024 Award Winner For TV Shows
Beating exceptional shows like The Last Of Us, The Crown, 1923, and others, Succession won the award for Best Television Series in Drama. Kieran Culkin won the award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series in Drama for his roleplay in Succession. Matthew Macfadyen brought another award in the row for the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role on Television.
Jeremy Allen White won Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series– Musical or Comedy for his performance in the series, The Bear.
