Yami Gautam revealed her baby bump, confirming her pregnancy with husband-filmmaker Aditya Dhar during the trailer launch of her new film Article 370. Manikarnika Queen Kangana Ranaut shared her joy on Instagram and congratulated the couple on the good news.
While praising Aditya and mentioning his response to a question about the film, the actress also expressed her admiration for Yami: “Mr Dhar has so much integrity and talent. Also, Yami Gautam is just so wonderful; they are undoubtedly my favourite Bollywood couple. The trailer of Article 370 looks amazing. I wish them the best, and congratulations on the pregnancy as well. So happy for them.”
This is not the first time Kangana has hailed Yami Gautam; she previously praised her film Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga and celebrated the success of Yami’s Netflix movie.
The Actresses Share the Same Root
Yami and Kangana, both from Himachal Pradesh, have a positive bond. In 2023, while interviewing with DNA, Yami referred to Kangana as a “fantastic actress” and shared how Kangana had invited her to her home in Manali during a shoot for “Chor.” Yami expressed mutual respect, explaining that despite not being able to visit due to hectic schedules, she values the kindness Kangana showed. Yami emphasized her admiration for Kangana’s work and conveyed warm wishes for her future projects.
About the Film Article 370
Yami Gautam and the director of “Uri,” Aditya Dhar, tied the knot in June 2021. The release date for their upcoming movie, Article 370, is set for February 23. The film is based on the abrogation of article 370 from the conflict full state of Jammu and Kashmir in 2019. It revolves around an intelligence officer who realizes that the removal of Article 370, which provides special status to the state, is so important to bring the state into normalcy, which is played by Yami Gautam. It also features the struggle of the current government to get the act done.
